For those who tuned into 85th annual Academy Awards, it seems the biggest buzz this morning on Facebook and Twitter is all about the multiple over the top musical numbers.

Host Seth McFarlane kicked off the night with his own off beat song and dance routine.

Not to be out done, singer Adele performed the theme to Skyfall, which is the latest James Bond flick.  “Skyfall” won Adele an Oscar for “Best Original Song”.

Perhaps one of the most talked about performances came from Barbra Streisand singing “The Way We Were”.

This was her first Oscar performance since the 1970s.

And many more celebs were in the spotlight during the big event.

Christoph Waltz won best supporting actor for his role in Quentin Tarintino’s Django Unchained.

Best supporting actress favorite Anne Hathaway won her first Oscar for Les Miserables.

Silver Linings Playbook’s Jennifer Lawrence won “Best Actress”.

And Daniel Day Lewis took home “Best Actor” for Lincoln.

Introductions are always huge at the Oscars and one of the most memorable one’s last night came from Jack Nicholson and first lady Michelle Obama who joined via satellite.  The pair gave out “Best Picture Award”.

That honor went to Argo staring and directed by Ben Affleck.

Unfortunately, not every movie hitting the silver screen is deserving of Oscar gold.

Those films get their own notorious awards ceremony called “The Razzies”.

The less artistic films of the year get some recognition all their own. This year, “Twilight: Breaking Dawn: Part 2” is the best of the worst.

The final installment in the Twilight series walked away with seven statuettes. Including worst picture from the 33rd annual Razzie awards.
