Person Hit by SUV in Scranton

SCRANTON — The driver of an SUV was taken into custody after striking a pedestrian Saturday night in Scranton.

It happened around 11 p.m. on Moosic Street.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital. There is no word on the person’s name or condition.

Scranton police have not said what charges the driver faces.
