Bucknell Defeats Lehigh On The Road

Brian Fitzpatrick gave them quality minutes off the bench in the first half and Ben Brackney added some much-needed help for Bucknell in the second half as the Bison defeated Lehigh 61-55 on Monday night at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem.

With the win Bucknell gains control of the Patriot League standings now one game clear of Lehigh with three games to play before the Patriot League tournament.

Bryson Johnson led all scorers with 19 points, while Mike "Moose" Muscala had 12.

Brian Fitzpatrick, and Ben Brackney each had 6 points for Bucknell.

Bucknell hosts Holy Cross on Sunday at noon. Then American comes into the Sojka for the live WNEP2 game on Wednesday February 27th at 7pm. The final regular season Patriot League game is on the road March 2nd at Navy.

The tournament starts March 6th with the quarterfinal round, then the semi's take place on the 9th with the championship game set for March 13th.
