Two Behind Bars After Burglary

FRACKVILLE — Police in Schuylkill County said they arrested a man and woman who stole a gold ring and thousands in silver coins in November.

State police said Jeffery Durgis, 40, and Jennifer Richardson, 36, both from Shenandoah, admitted to the crimes.

Troopers said the Durgis and Richardson stole a 10 carat gold ring from a jewelry store at the Schuylkill Mall.  The ring is worth about $110.

The pair is also accused of swiping more than $6,000 in coins from a mall antique store.
