GIRARDVILLE — A former funeral director in Schuylkill County is charged with theft after authorities say he failed to deposit money that was supposed to go into someone’s account.
William McDonald, 43, of Girardville used to run McDonald Funeral Home, when investigators say he accepted an $8,100 check to cover burial expenses for a woman who died, but used the money for other purposes.
