WILKES-BARRE — Police believe a man who crashed an SUV into a restaurant last month was driving under the influence.
Alrick Taylor, 21, of Brooklyn, New York was arraigned around 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
The wreck happened last month on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre.
According to court papers, a Wilkes-Barre officer on patrol saw Taylor drive across Kidder Street and crash into a Denny’s restaurant.
Four people inside were injured and were taken to hospitals.
Taylor faces charges of reckless driving, D.U.I., and aggravated assault by vehicle while D.U.I.
He was released on bail.
