FOSTER TOWNSHIP — State police arrested a man they said stole aluminum pallets from a meat packing plant.

Troopers said the thefts happened on Saturday and Tuesday at Citterio plant on Route 940 in Foster Township.

Investigators said an employee saw a gold car leaving the area Saturday with aluminum pallets in the trunk.  The employee followed the car and got the plate numbers.

Troopers ran the plates and learned Bryan Polascik was the driver.  Polascik was arrested and told state police he had stolen 10 plates valued at around $3,500.

He faces theft charges and is locked up in Luzerne County jail.
