TOBYHANNA — A Saturday morning arrest put a man behind bars in Monroe County on drug charges.
Officials stopped a vehicle driven by Renier Gil of New York just after midnight on Route 940 in Tobyhanna.
The traffic stop led to a search of the car by a narcotics dog.
Officers found 100 bags of heroin, and 150 bags of ecstasy and cocaine, with a street value of over $8,000.
Police in Monroe County say the bags were wrapped in fabric softener sheets to try and hide the smell of the drugs.
