WILKES-BARRE -- A district magistrate in Luzerne County has signed off on a new search warrant in connection with the deadly hit and run of a little boy.
Officers said Kevin Miller, 5, of Dallas was killed in December when a car hit him and then took off.
Early in January, state police reconstructed the crash scene along West North Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Authorities said the new search warrant will allow officers to do a post-collision safety inspection of the car.
