SCRANTON — People from our area are headed to the nation’s capital to protest abortion.

Dozens boarded a bus just before 7 a.m. Friday at the Keyser Oak shopping plaza in Scranton.

They will take part in the 40th annual March For Life event.

The Scranton chapter of Pennsylvanians for Human Life provided the bus for the group.

Organizers said they will meet with eight other groups for the pro-life march in Washington D.C.
