SCRANTON — On Tuesday, the trial began in Lackawanna County for a baseball coach charged with corruption of minors.
Gavin Cerco of Clarks Summit is accused of having inappropriate contact on Facebook with a 12-year-old girl while he was an assistant baseball coach in the Abington Heights School District.
The student testified today that Cerrco would send her messages, asking to borrow her clothes and underwear.
Cerco also took the stand Tuesday and said he didn’t believe he was committing a crime.
