KINGSTON -- Two people were taken to the hospital with burns after a Monday evening fire at a home in Luzerne County.
Flames started in a home along Payne Avenue in Kingston around 5:00 p.m.
Fire officials believe the fire started in the kitchen and spread to the second floor. The home was severely damaged by the time fire crews were able to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
