PRICE TOWNSHIP — State police in Monroe County are investigating a Sunday afternoon explosion at a home in Price Township.
Troopers said the explosion happened at a home on Rock Ledge Drive around 12:30 p.m.
Authorities said that a person at the home was assembling an explosive device that blew up. The person sustained a serious hand injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
State police said the device was taken from the home and was safely disposed.
Troopers said the person injured may be charged but are continuing the investigation.
