SHENANDOAH- Fire raged through two homes early Saturday morning.

The fire started at a home on the 400 block of West Center Street in Shenandoah around 4 a.m. The Schuylkill county communications center says the fire went to three alarms.

The fire chief says one firefighter was taken to the hospital for minor injury. A resident was also taken to be checked out.

Two of the row homes were affected by the flames, and two others had smoke and water damage. Four people were forced out of their homes.

A fire marshal will investigate a cause, though the chief doesn't believe it is suspicious.
