MONROE COUNTY -- The snow is back covering Jim Salamone's driveway and lawn in Tobyhanna. After weeks of snow pack and snow piles, here it had finally melted away a couple days ago. Now, here we go again.

"Last night it was nice and clear," said Salamone. "I woke up this morning and it was like: 'Well look. Here we go again, I have to shovel out again.'"

But as Salamone clears away the five inches or so that fell here, he knows last week's warm up was too good to last.

"I wore my t-shirt," Salamone said. "I can't do that now. Is this winter in the Poconos? This is winter in the Poconos, it's winter up here!"

Just down the street brother and sister duo Mark and Katrina Beck were busy clearing their driveway. Mark was still dressed for the warm weather. He may have to adjust that soon, the forecast is for bitter cold next week, with highs only in the teens.

"I'm just going to have to dress warmer and not wear shorts," Mark said. "I never get cold, though."

His sister Katrina just likes that this weather means days off from school, she loved waking up to winter.

"Well I was thinking are we going to have school or early dismissal," said Katrina. "I was like to my sister: 'Woohoo, no school. That means we don't have to get up early!'"

This certainly wasn't a storm that caused a crippling effect on the roads, but it is enough that you have to clear out the snow and have a little fun too. But remember, it is January!

"I don't mind winter," said David Calemmo of Mount Pocono. "You live in the northeast. This is what you expect; you expect it."

While David Calemmo did some shoveling here in Mount Pocono, his wife and kids were having fun with the fresh coating of snow. They don't mind winter too much, even now that it plans on sticking around for a while.

"It was nice last week," said Calemmo. "Then we got four, five, six inches of snow today. It wakes you up!
