LAMAR TOWNSHIP -- Authorities in Clinton County said two people are dead and three children were flown to the hospital after a head-on crash.
Police said Thomas Zierenberg of Allison Park, near Pittsburgh and Courtney Rebuck of Loganton were killed.
The crash happened on Route 220 in Lamar Township just after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Troopers believe Zierenberg's car crossed the center line and slammed into a Rebuck's van. They said distracted driving contributed to the crash.
Police reconstructed the scene and detoured traffic away from the area. The road was closed until 8:15 p.m.
The conditions of the three children were not released.
