Police on Search for Thief

MAHONING TOWNSHIP — Carbon County police are looking for a man who allegedly broke into a parked car Sunday night.

Authorities said the thief stole credit cards out of a car parked at the Big Boulder Ski Resort around 8:30 p.m. 

After they were reported stolen, police tracked the cards.  At 8:33 p.m. one card was used at the Shell Gas Station on Route 209 in Franklin Township.  Another card was used at a little after 9:00 p.m. at the Giant Food Store in Mahoning Township.

The man they believe stole the cards was caught by surveillance cameras. 

Police are asking anyone who can identify the thief, to call them immediately at 570-386-2241.
