SCOTT TOWNSHIP — A home in Lackawanna County was engulfed by flames and destroyed Friday night.
Crews said the fire started just before 9:00 p.m. at a home in the Chapman Lake Development in Scott Township.
A state police fire marshal said the home was a complete loss and due to the destruction, the source of the flames could not be found. The marshal said it did not appear suspicious.
A family of three lived at the home but were not there at the time of the fire.
No one was hurt.
