DALLAS — A former Pennsylvania state corrections officer is facing a slew of charges, including sexual assault and contraband.
According to state police, Edward Davis was caught by security officers last January bringing illegal items into the state prison in Dallas.
After 11 months of an investigation, Troopers charged Davis with contraband of both controlled substances and devices, and sex assault.
He was arraigned on Friday and was released on $75,000 bail. Davis is due back in court on January 17.
