Driver Cited After Slamming into School Bus

HAZLETON — Police said a man from West Hazleton will be cited for hitting a school bus while students were on board.

Troopers said the crash happened on route 309 near Hazleton Friday afternoon. 

According to state police, a car driven by Maxwell Howe slammed into the back of the school bus while it was stopped to off-load students.

Eleven students were on the bus but none were hurt.
