We found lots of people working up a sweat at the Greater Carbondale YMCA.

More people than usual... after all, it is January, and people haven't given up on those resolutions just yet.

YMCA member Ann Vadella from Carbondale said, "It has been very crowded the last two days, but before Christmas wasn't so bad."

So, good-bye holiday Oreos and sugary candy, and hello to Planter's Nut-rition Energy Mix Peanut Butter in cinnamon raisin granola nut and berry nut.

It sounds healthy, but we called upon an expert just to make sure.

The Carbondale YMCA has its own registered nurse!

Lorrie Williams, RN helped us check out the ingredients and the numbers:

Two tablespoons of the new Planter's peanut butter has 180 calories, 14 grams of fat, five grams of sugar and six grams of protein.

So, does Nurse Lorrie recommend it?

"I think that we have to look at portion control in everything. I think that a smear of that and not taking in the entire two table spoons on a couple of crackers or pretzels is a good snack," said Williams.

Y member Bernie Jordan said she might put the cinnamon raisin granola nut peanut butter on celery sticks for a snack.

"I like it," said Jordan. "It's sweet. It has a different flavor to it."

"It's not as creamy as regular peanut butter. But I think it would be good with some jelly and a glass of milk!" said Vadella.

We found lots of people who thought both flavors would make a great healthy snack.

"Trish: would this replace your normal peanut butter? Dan riefel, lake ariel: yeah.  Really? You like it that much? Yeah. I like it."

Andrew Torch said he would buy Planter's Nut-rition Energy Mix if he saw it in the store.  "It's healthy, it's good for you. It tastes good."

The new peanut butters are $3.28 a jar at Walmart.
