Big Rig Crash Slows Traffic on Interstate

DANVILLE — A tractor trailer crash closed a lane for hours Saturday afternoon on Interstate 80 in Montour County.

The rig jackknifed in the road around 2:00 p.m. near mile marker 219 in the Danville area.  The truck spilled its load of paper all over the highway.

Responders said one lane on Interstate 80 was closed so crews could clean up the mess.

As of 5:00 p.m. Saturday, the highway was still closed.
