Schor Wins Fiore Cesare Award

Bryan Schor from Delaware Valley picked up the 2012 Fiore Cesare Award Thursday afternoon. Jack Henzes took home the Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of service as the Head Football coach at Dunmore. The Bucks played in this years State Championship game against Clarirton.

Brian Tomasetti the Old Forge running back came in 2nd in the voting and Karlon Quiller the Scranton Knights wide receiver 3rd.

Schor and his Warriors football team won the District 2 AAAA championship and finished with a (11-2) record. Bryan also took home a $2,000 dollar scholarship.

Previous winners include Joe McCarthy, Tyler Hughes, Michael Perry, Miller Holmes, Hubie Graham, Kyle Passeri, Zach Lasavage, Joe Tuzze, Al Karaffa, Chris Donati, Evan Prall, Brett Trichilo, Tom Hughes, Derek Hewlett, Harry Armstrong, Tim Charles, Eric Miller, Greg Caucci, Jeff Laboranti, and George Howanitz. The Fiore Cesare recognizes the best football player from the Lackawanna Football Conference for his work on and off the field.
