Police in Luzerne County are investigating two Christmas morning crimes, and they think the same man could be responsible for both.
The first was in Plains Township. Police say a man with some sort of covering over his face tried to rob Dunkin Donuts along Route 315. It happened just before 4:00 a.m.
Then, ten minutes later, a man tried to rob Turkey Hill on North Pennsylvania Avenue in Wilkes-Barre.
In both cases, the would be bandit left empty handed. Clerks at both stores provided police with similar descriptions.
Police say the man might have been driving a small black car.
No one was hurt in those attempted Christmas morning robberies.
