SCRANTON -- One couple from Lackawanna County got an extra special gift this Christmas - a new member of the family!

The Santa's helper outfit is a little big for newborn Caeden Joseph Henninger, but considering his birth date, he's festive enough already.

"The whole time throughout the pregnancy, when I found out our due date was right around Christmas, that I would have him for Christmas, and he wasn't here before his due date. And, I guess I got what I asked for because he came on Christmas," said mom Andrea Henninger of Moscow.

Caeden Joseph was born at 12:17 on Christmas morning, just about an hour after first-time mom, Andrea Henninger, and her husband arrived at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.

It was a quick delivery for Andrea, who carried Caeden for 10 months and an extra six days past her due date.

"The doctor checked me and he said, 'Cancel anesthesia. We're going to delivery.' That fast, he was here," said Andrea.

Mom and dad live in Moscow. They say at 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and 19-and-a-half inches, Caeden and his Christmas delivery were worth the wait.

"She's got to hold him for the past 10 months, so I need a little daddy-buddy time. Here we got the father-son time now. It is definitely the best gift anyone could ever receive on this day," said dad Dave Henninger.

It was Christmas Day and a birthday all wrapped into one for this special little elf.
