Three Arrested For Heroin

TOBYHANNA TOWNSHIP — Three people are in custody on drug charges in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said Benjamin Farah, 22, Danielle Mitchell, 27, from Mount Pocono, and Jasmine Ackerman, 33, from Cresco were arrested Thursday during a traffic stop along Route 940 in Pocono Summit.

Officers found 170 bags of heroin and a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle.

Police also said Mitchell was driving under the influence of drugs.
