Dunmore Bucks versus Clairton Bears in the PIAA "A" State Championship game.

The Bears were backed up on their own 11, had a first and 34 on their possession.

But, they climbed out of that hole as Tyler Boyd crashes in for a TD and a 6-0 lead.

In the 2nd quarter, Dunmore's defense came up big.  Sal Marchese with a third down tackle. Bucks with a goal line stand.

But, the Bears scored just before halftime to make it 14-0. Armani Ford to Terrish Webb for a 21 yard TD to make it 14-0 Clairton.

Just before halftime Austin Seamon big 23 yd pick up to get into Bears territory, but Brandon Kujawski on 4th down gets picked off by Boyd. Boyd fumbles as time expires and it's still 14-0 at halftime.

4th quarter still 14-0, Ford to Webb moves the chains to keep the drive alive.

Armani Ford with the QB keep for 29 yards and the TD but the  2 point conversion is no good... 20-0 Bears.

That would be the final score.  It's Clairton's 4th straight state title and their 63'rd consecutive win.

For the 2nd time in six seasons Dunmore finishes 2nd in the state. In 2007 they lost the double a title to Terrell Pryor and Jeannette.

This time it was the Tyler Boyd and Clairton.

Finishing second to those two teams is something to be proud of.
