Car Crashed Into Porch

THROOP — One man was hospitalized after he lost control of his car in Lackawanna County.

The crash happened along Oleckna Street in Throop around 6:30 a.m. Friday.

According to police, the man swerved to avoid hitting an animal, then crashed into the porch of a home.

No one inside the home was hurt and there’s no major damage to the home.
