COAL TOWNSHIP — A substitute teacher in Northumberland County has admitted sending inappropriate messages and pictures to female students.

Michael Zack pleaded guilty on Wednesday to unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors.

He was arrested in March after 16 and 17-year-old students told investigators Zack asked to be their friend on Facebook and sent inappropriate messages.

Zack was a substitute at Shamokin Area High School at the time.
