PLAINS TOWNSHIP — Two crash victims had to be pulled up an embankment just outside Wilkes-Barre Wednesday night.
State police said one car rear-ended another along the Route 115/309 corridor near the North Cross Valley Expressway around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers said the car in front flipped down a steep embankment and into a wooded area.
Crews rescued the driver, Thomas Green from Wilkes-Barre, and a passenger, Shannon Gail from Kingston, and took both to the hospital.
The driver of the other car wasn’t hurt.
