Update: Truck Crash On Interstate 81

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — A highway in Luzerne County is open again after a rig wreck jammed up traffic.

It happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 81 north in Butler Township near the junction with Interstate 80.

Troopers said two tractor-trailers were involved in the crash, blocking both lanes northbound.

Traffic in the area was backed up for several miles.

There is no word on injuries.
