Armed Robbery Outside Credit Union

PLAINS TOWNSHIP — A man with a gun robbed a woman at an ATM in Luzerne County.

It happened around 10:30 Saturday night at Choice One Credit Union along River Street in Plains Township, outside Wilkes-Barre.

Police said the woman withdrew cash, then a man with a gun jumped out of the bushes, took the money and ran. The woman was not hurt in the hold up.
