The North Pole Display

For great family holiday fun, it’s The North Pole Display in Newfoundland, Wayne County.  The animated Christmas display has sound effects & music to produce a marvelous show.  The North Pole Christmas Display is on Crestmont Drive in Newfoundland on Saturday, Dec. 22 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.  The holiday show is a must see for children of all ages!

Christmas Cookie Sale

To have great sweets for the holiday consider the Christmas Cookie Sale in Wilkes-Barre.  Holy Trinity Orthodox Church on E. Main Street in the Miners MIlls section of Wilkes-Barre sponsors the Cookie Sale for Dec. 21 & 22, both Friday & Saturday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.  It’s a wonderful assortment of homemade cookies in every package.  Pre-orders are available at 825-6540 or purchase cookies at the door.
