Emergency crews responded Friday morning to reports of crashes on several roads in parts of Lackawanna County.
Freezing rain and drizzle made the pavement slippery in spots, according to dispatchers.
PennDOT cameras showed traffic backed up on Interstate 84 eastbound in the Dunmore area.
By 10:30 a.m. the roads that had been shut down were reopened and the wrecks had been cleared.
The PA Turnpike reports the following traffic problems:
- At 128.7 northbound a tractor trailer is overturned. Fire Dept is on scene. All traffic must exit at the Keyser Avenue exit # 122. Southbound traffic is also being detoured.
