Man Arrested for Allegedly Making Bomb Threats

TOWANDA — State police in Bradford County arrested a man who they said made bomb threats at the county courthouse.

Troopers said Tommy Turner of Rome said there were two bombs in the courthouse.

Authorities ordered everyone out of the place, but they did not find anything suspicious.

Troopers said Turner did it because he was scheduled to be sentenced on a DUI charges, and Turner said he wanted to spend Christmas with his family instead.
