WILKES-BARRE -- Jury selection is beginning for a Luzerne County couple accused of abusing a 12-year-old boy.
Police believe Robert Caravella and Carol Hann kept the boy in deplorable conditions at a home on Gould Street in Plymouth and Hann repeatedly molested the boy over the course of several years.
They were arrested in 2011.
Prosecutors said it is one of the worst abuse cases they have ever had to try.
Caravella and Hann are locked up in Luzerne County.
