SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP -- A family is staying with neighbors after an early morning fire in Lackawanna County.
Flames scorched the outside of the home on Sumner Avenue near Clarks Summit.
Crews were called to the fire just before 1 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities tell us the fire got its start in the basement.
The exact cause is under investigation.
