CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old man was flown to the hospital after being hit by a car in Monroe County Sunday evening.
Troopers said Corey Vanfleet was struck by a car driven by his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend. The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Shenkel Road in Chestnuthill Township.
The teenager fled the scene after hitting Vanfleet.
He was found by another driver along the road. His current condition is unknown.
