STROUDSBURG — The Stroud Area Regional Police responded to an attempted armed robbery Wednesday morning around 2:30 on West Main Street in Stroudsburg.
A man and a boy tried to rob the Quality Inn. One was armed with a semi-automatic hand gun, and the other was the lookout.
The men fled the scene empty-handed when the nighttime desk clerk at the time, had no money to give them.
Police are still investigating the attempted robbery.
