Arrest Made After Stabbing

EAST STROUDSBURG — The Stroud Area Regional Police arrested Rafael Jimenez for stabbing a male and attempting to stab a female on Tuesday night on Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg.

Jimenez is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangering, and public drunkenness.

Jimenez spent Tuesday night in the Monroe County Jail and was arraigned Wednesday morning.

The victim was treated at the hospital and released.
