SCRANTON -- Scranton police are investigating after the body of a missing Scranton woman was discovered Friday.

Sharon Price's body was discovered by workers down a ravine behind a work site on Luzerne Street in the city, just about eight blocks from a hair salon where she was last seen on October 27.

Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma.

It appears Price fell down the ravine.

Fire crews were called in to help bring the body out of the area.

Sixty-two-year-old Price was legally blind and had other medical problems.

Crimewatch members, police and police dogs had all been involved in searching the west side for price.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday morning.
