Fire Ruled Arson in Mocanaqua

MOCANAQUA — A fire marshal has confirmed that a fire Monday at a house on Main Street in Mocanaqua was ruled arson.

Officials believed Monday’s fire was suspicious, after several fires in the Shickshinny and Mocanaqua area in the past few weeks were declared arson.

Investigators are still trying to determine if all the fires are connected.
