Man Arrested, Charged For Sending Explicit Texts

WRIGHT TOWNSHIP — Police in Luzerne County have arrested a man who they said sent sexually explicit text messages to minors.

Steven Brown, 27, of Kingston faces a slew of charges including sending inappropriate messages and photos to underage victims. Police said Brown also told the minors he would pay them for sexual favors.

Back in April, Brown was supposed to turn himself in on child porn charges, but instead led police on a chase on Interstate 81 in Lackawanna County.

Brown ended up crashing his vehicle and injuring four people.
