CLARKS SUMMIT -- People in Lackawanna County are rallying around a father battling cancer.
About 400 people packed State Street Grill in Clarks Summit Sunday to eat, listen to music, and raise money for Ted Pietryka.
Pietryka has throat and lung cancer.
He is undergoing treatment in Philadelphia.
Money raised from the benefit will help pay home and medical bills.
"Hopefully this will just help take one worry off of his mind, so he can focus on fighting this and beating it," said Mary Ellen Berry.
The man from Lackawanna County is already a cancer survivor. He beat Esophogeal cancer when he was 19 years old.
