Man Wanted for Stealing Copper

WEST PITTSTON -- Police in Luzerne County are searching for a man they claim broke into a home in West Pittston and stole copper piping.

Authorities said Seid Aptiliasimov, along with two others, broke into a home on Nassau Street in October and stole copper piping in the basement. He later was caught on surveillance cameras selling the same piping at a local junk yard.

Police said Aptiliasimov's brother, Adam, was charged for his involvement in the burglary. Officers said the other man plans to turn himself in. 

Aptiliasimov faces burglary and theft charges.
