DALLAS — A man in Luzerne County who served a 27-year sentence behind bars for child sex crimes is back in prison.

Jose Ramos was taken right back into custody Wednesday morning after being released from the state prison in Dallas.

State police said Ramos gave a false address in the Bronx when registering with Megan’s law.

Ramos was once a prime suspect in the infamous missing person’s case involving a little boy named Etan Patz in New York City before another man was charged over the summer.
