DICKSON CITY — A man in Lackawanna County was arrested and faces drug charges after police pulled him over Monday night in Dickson City.
Officers stopped Ramon Vega, of Scranton, around 9:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Main Street in Dickson City for an equipment violation. Police said they saw a bunch Pennsylvania license plates in the back of his car.
According to police, Vega allowed a search of his vehicle when a pill bottle was also discovered. A further search revealed over 200 grams of Cocaine valued around $23,000. A scale and small baggies were also found.
Vega was charged and is locked up in Lackawanna County jail. A hearing is scheduled for November 15.
