Couple Flown To Hospital After Fire

FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP — A husband and wife were flown to the hospital when fire tore through their home in Luzerne County.

It happened along Pine Lane in Mountain Top just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Crews say most of the damage appears to be inside.

Authorities tell us the couple’s children were in school at the time of the fire.

The man and woman have severe injuries and were flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

A state police fire marshal will look for a cause.
