CLIFTON TOWNSHIP -- State police in Lackawanna county are investigating a Sunday morning crash that left a man dead.
Police say 30-year-old Mario Pantoja of Scotrun lost control of his car while driving south on Rt 435 in Clifton Township early Sunday morning.
Troopers said the car went through the guard rail and over the embankment.
One lane in both directions on Route 435 closed to allow crews to clean up the wreck.
