DEER LAKE — A woman was killed in a three car pile-up in Schuylkill County.
It happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday on Route 61 in Deer Lake.
Authorities said Sharon Barney, 59, from Old Forge was thrown from the vehicle she was riding in and died at the scene. The driver of that vehicle was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
A six-year-old boy and a two-month-old baby were in another vehicle. They were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The driver of that vehicle was flown to Reading Hospital.
